Today, we had a really early meeting at work, which also involved a lot of people working late last night until this morning. Therefore, the majority of friends normally involved for today's hike were not available. I still wanted to get out and check out this place for myself.
I arrived around 1:30 in the afternoon and started to explore a little myself. I went up a few random paths and decided to head back to the main paved/gravel path.
I'll upload a few pictures here, but the rest will be on my Facebook and Flickr.

Day Three: No hike. Rained Out.
So this day(Being this past Sunday the 15th) was supposed to be my early hike day. Woke up early and got ready only to look outside and find rain. I was a little bummed out to see that and figured I should make use of the allocated time for something else instead.
I ended up taking a little run 2.5 mile run. Nothing to fancy but in the idea of keeping active, I had to use that time for something.
As for the next hike, I'm still working out a few details, but we plan on making it out to Solstice Canyon in Malibu. From what I can tell, it will be on May 22nd at, the earliest, 1PM. This should be a 2-3 hour hike with about 6-7 miles to cover. As the day gets closer, I'll update more information on this hike.
And by the way, I know people go hiking all the time when it rains, unfortunately I was not ready nor prepared for the rain. Hiking up Runyon Canyon in mud would have been a little difficult.

Week 3
This Sunday's hike will be a quick solo hike. I actually have to work this day so I'll be heading up to Runyon Canyon alone most likely. Although Next week, I plan on getting a group together to go to Solstice Canyon for a long fun hike.
More to come tomorrow!

Day Two
Another day hiking at Runyon Canyon ahead of us. Tomorrow is Mother's day and for the most part, people already have plans. For the few of us who aren't that lucky, let's go hiking! Planning to meet at at 12:30 again at the Gardner/Vista Entrance. Planning on taking the right side up(dirt side) and back down the paved path(Intermediate Route). Will post more pictures after we finish up tomorrow.
